For the second year in a row, some American toads came to my yard to breed in my small pond and pool cover. I wish I could've filmed them in a more natural setting, but I'll take what I can get!

Found a garter snake the other day.

This is why they're called mole salamanders.

All the stuff i found in Brown County, Indiana during the HWD competition. I saw a total of 10 species while I was there. All photos and videos were taken at the park except the second toad calling which was taken in my pond. The music during the pictures is the Star Wars The Force Unleashed main Theme.

I took a trip down to Snake road in Southern Illinois this weekend and had a blast, saw a lot of really awesome herps. I can't wait to go back next time!

A couple more finds in the creek.

Another day in the creek yielded a nice Northern watersnake and a blue crayfish.

At a fireworks display I heard and caught a Cope's Gray Treefrog (Hyla chrysoscelis). I also got several to call when I imitated their call, as you'll hear in the video.

Some more salamanders, kinda repetitive but with this warm weather coming i should be able to film some new stuff.
