World of Tanks M18 Hellcat - 6 Kills 4,7K Damage

The M18 Hellcat is an American tier 6 turreted tank destroyer.

Development started in 1942. In April 1943 the General Motors company produced the first prototypes. One of a few American tank destroyers manufactured on its original chassis, not on a tank chassis. The tank destroyer became the fastest armored vehicle, of this type, of World War II. A total of 2,507 vehicles were produced from July 1943 through October 1944.

The M18 Hellcat is a unique tank destroyer with its top speed of 72 km/h -- making it the fastest TD in the game (although historically it could go as fast as 92 km/h), and is also one of the most played tanks in World of Tanks. Armed with the high powered 90 mm AT Gun M3, the M18 Hellcat is a dangerous tank to fight. The Hellcat has negligible armor and an open turret so use your speed to avoid enemy fire or die quickly. The M18 Hellcat can scout and flank enemy positions to some degree but with the slow turret traverse speed, drivers will quickly learn it is not the best of roles. The Hellcat is very popular in tank companies along with the KV-85. In tight situations the Hellcat can be used as a scout tank, although it is not highly recommended due to the traverse speed on both its hull and turret, and the paper-thin armor.

World of Tanks Object 279 (e) - 11 Kills 11,7K Damage

The Object 279 early is a Soviet tier 10 premium heavy tank.

An early variant of a blueprint project for a high crossing capacity heavy tank with a new configuration scheme. Developed in 1947–1948 by L. S. Troyanov. This vehicle was to feature a low four-track engine, mounted on longitudinal beams that also served as fuel tanks, considerably reducing the chance of fire. These solutions provided high crossing capacity and survivability: the tank could continue moving even with damaged tracks. The placement of the hull above the suspension allowed for a large fighting compartment, and as a result, increased ammunition and an improved autoloader mechanism for a high rate of fire. A functional prototype was manufactured in 1948.

World of Tanks T49 - 6 Kills 6,9K Damage

The T49 is an American tier 9 light tank.

A variant of the M41 light tank with an enlarged turret and 90-mm gun. Trials started on May 5, 1954. The trials were a success, but the tank never saw mass production due to lack of interest from the military authorities.

Imagine the KV-2 with small size and agile speed; This is the result of insane combination of the deadly "derp gun" and mobility. When stock, The T49 is just Bulldog with higher hit points, lower speed and camo ratings. But when it received the deadly 152mm gun, The T49 became to one of the most dangerous enemy you'll face in Tier 9 - 10 ranks, Especially if you played as lightly armored tanks (Such tank in France line). Its deadly gun can deal up to 1000 damage and can do serious module damage to your tank if lands a critical hit. In exchange, it only has mediocre speed for a light tank and very poor accuracy.

Recent gameplay changes has now allowed the T49 be a consistent damage dealer with the changes to the 90mm gun allowing it to fight with other light tanks or medium tanks without resorting to expensive HEAT rounds.

The T49 leads to the XM551 Sheridan.

World of Tanks VK 30.01 (H) - 11 Kills 3K Damage

The VK 30.01 (H) is a German tier 5 heavy tank.

An order for developing the vehicle was placed on September 9, 1939. Over the course of its development, Henschel engineers actively used elements of the D.W. II project. The first two prototypes were ready in March 1942; another two were built by October the same year. Hulls of the prototypes underwent trials at the plant proving ground. After the trials, two prototypes were converted into heavy tank destoyers. Six turrets manufactured by the Krupp company were placed at the Atlantic Wall.

This tank is slow for a tier 5 heavy and the rather weak armor doesn't help, giving this tank low survivability in close combat. Also, to be able to mount the 7.5cm Waffe gun, the turret has to be upgraded, but this will decrease the agility and drive-performance of the tank due to the added weight and the slower traverse speed. This tank is recommended for mid-range encounters, as the relatively accurate and highly penetrating 7.5cm Waffe proves extremely effective against even tier 7 tanks. Just make sure you have backup. This tank is a very good for learning more advanced defensive tactics: it has decent hulldown potential (above average gun depression of 8 degrees) and can easily diamond-angle (to the maximum of up to 45 degrees, although it is long).

World of Tanks Tiger (P) - 7 Kills 5,2K Damage

The Tiger (P) is a German tier 7 heavy tank.

On May 26, 1941, Adolf Hitler ordered Ferdinand Porsche and the Henschel company to develop prototypes of a new heavy tank. The prototypes were shown to the Führer on April 20, 1942. Manufacturing began, but the production run was cut short due to the complexity of the tank's drive and control systems, and a shortage of the required copper. Later, 90 produced hulls were converted into Ferdinand tank destroyers.

While in stock form, its 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 is insufficient for targets above its tier. Once its accurate and powerful 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 is mounted, the Tiger (P) becomes a real sniper, capable of destroying higher tier tanks. Its unusually thick hull armor and the 100mm thick mantlet covering the frontal 100mm plate of the upgraded turret makes it hard for many enemy tanks to penetrate frontally. It has a slightly different game style compared to its cousin, the Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger; it has less engine power, the same weapons, a lower rate of fire, a lot more armor on the front, and lower top speed. Like the PzKpfw VI Tiger, the Tiger (P) excels as a sniper, though with its 200mm thick hull front, it is capable of leading the charge if required.

World of Tanks T57 Heavy - 7 Kills 10,9K Damage

The T57 Heavy Tank is an American tier 10 heavy tank.

A project for a heavy tank with an oscillating turret and automatic loader, developed from 1951. Experimental turrets for 120 mm and 155 mm guns were manufactured by 1957. However, the project was deemed unsuccessful and development was discontinued.

The T57 Heavy Tank is a tier X heavy tank in the American tech tree and unlike the T110E5, the T57 is armed with a 4 round auto loader. Apart from that and the slow aim time, the T57's gun is nearly the same as the T110E5's one. Its armor isn't as good as that of the T110E5, but it can bounce shots if angled correctly. The reload on this tank is really outstanding, only needing about 22 seconds to load the magazine and about a 2 second delay between shots, giving the gun amazing burst and DPM potential. Use the quick clip reload to your advantage and help your team deal massive damage to the enemy and this tank will be a force to be reckoned with.


The T57 Heavy Tank marks the end of its American heavy line.

World of Tanks Type 5 Heavy - 5 Kills 11K Damage

The Type 5 Heavy is a Japanese tier 10 heavy tank.

The Type 5, also known as the Type 2605, was one of the variants of the O-I superheavy tank, developed during WWII. The vehicle was planned to be used for breaking through fortified enemy lines and for coastal defense.

Sometimes known as "Godzilla" the Type 5 Heavy is the final evolution of Japanese Super-Heavies. Its just massive as it seems: it has the second highest HP after Maus (2900), is even bigger, and has the thickest frontal armor of all heavy tanks in the game. Like all other Japanese heavies starting at tier 6, Type 5 Heavy has the "choice" of a 'traditional' gun or a howitzer that is able to crush everything in your path.

Unlike Type 4 Heavy, the Type 5 has armor that works. It will generally bounce stuff even if you don't mean to. Improvements include "frontal weakspots", and thicker side armor, that will allows you to laugh in the face of most tanks if you're at just a slight angle. It offers a massively improved survivability over the Type 4, and is a much more pleasant tank to play.

The Type 5 Heavy is rightfully considered a hard tank to beat, excelling at "reliably" damage dealer with every shot while also bouncing a few in return. It definitely deserves it status and most of the bad words attributed to it. Like other Japanese heavies, Type 5 Heavy is huge and slow, but still quick enough to get around. No real trades made for the gun and armor combination. Of course, like most superheavies it's "weak when surrounded", even more so because the damage output over time is limited. That doesn't matter when you hug a corner and peek when you're reloaded, of course, which is how 99% of games play out.


The Type 5 Heavy marks the end of its Japanese heavy line.
